Important: Payment for all Twin Cities Wine classes are non-refundable.
There are no exceptions to this policy.
Please treat your paid reservation as you would a ticket to a concert-- if you can't make it, send someone in your place. The only exception to this policy is if the tasting is cancelled for any reason. In that case, you will be notified via email 24 hours before the event, and your cost may be used to a future Twin Cities Wine event or refunded in full.

You must be 21 years of age or older; please bring a legal ID to class.
Not providing legal identification if requested will result in not being able to participate in the wine tasting, and no refunds will be provided.

WINE BLOGGER RYAN OPAZ

Wine blogging is increasing become the chosen method for many people to find their wine information. Many wine bloggers specialize to such a great degree that they are defacto experts in their field. The best go forward to create blogs of incredible depth and breadth.

Ryan Opaz was a fellow Minnesotan (formerly managing a wine shop in Minnetonka), when he and his wife decided to move to Spain. Keep this in mind: they didn't even speak the language! Once there, he had difficulty finding a job teaching English. To pass the time, he used his wine knowledge and passion to start a wine blog at www.catavino.net, and quickly found he was the ONLY person blogging about the wines of the Iberian peninsula!

Fast forward a couple of years, and local boy Ryan has become one of the top voices of the wines of Spain and Portugal! He's often mentioned in the wine cyberspace as one of the top wine blogs around, and one visit will prove it.

We're lucky to grab him on this trip ... he's in town for a wedding and vacation, but allowed us to put him in 'work mode' for one night. We'll gather at Solo Vino wine shop (with one of the top Iberian selections around) and get Ryan's take on the state of wine blogging, Spanish wines, trends, outlooks, and passions. This will be a spectacular night tasting incredible selections.
